Bajaj Boxer BM 150

Bajaj Auto, the Indian two-wheeler manufacturer has launched the new Boxer 150 with a starting price of Rs.43,000. The 150cc variant of the Boxer will now be available across all authorised Bajaj dealers in India. The on road price of the Boxer is about Rs.48,700 in Pune. Bajaj has named the new bike as the Boxer BM 150.

The new Boxer is at least Rs.7,000 cheaper than the equally powered discover city bike. As we had reported earlier, the new boxer will be focussed at the rural bike market. The Boxer will be marketed as a powerful utility bike which is similar to the Yezdi and the Rajdooth which dominated the rural roads of India in the early nineties.

The Boxer BM 150 is powered by a 150cc DTS-i engine capable of generating 12bhp. Bajaj has also added noteworthy features for this new bike. The new boxer has a longer seat that will accommodate three passengers and a larger luggage carrier. The new Boxer can carry heavy loads. The chassis is much stronger than the previous boxer which will help the bike perform well on muddy rural roads. These features will definitely help the rural users of this bike.
